Susan Sugrue is a public health professional and project leader with over 14 years of experience helping organizations improve healthcare delivery, strengthen systems, and achieve measurable results. She has worked across grassroots organizations, nonprofits, federal and state agencies, and hospital systems, bringing a deep understanding of complex healthcare environments, policy, and quality frameworks.

She partners with organizational leaders and patient communities to design and implement practical, data-driven solutions that enhance operations, improve patient outcomes, and drive sustainable change. Her expertise spans strategic planning, program development, project management, quality improvement, and stakeholder engagement across multi-layered systems.

Susan is a strong advocate for patient-centered care, with a commitment to health equity and community-driven solutions. She is actively engaged in community-centered, healthcare-focused, and professional networks, ensuring her work remains grounded in real-world needs and evolving system challenges.

She founded Catalyra Consulting based on both personal and professional experience navigating gaps in healthcare, shaping her approach to delivering solutions that are not only strategic, but actionable and impactful.

Susan holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) and a certification in Health Education and Promotion from Benedictine University. She also holds certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Community Health Worker (CCHW), and credentials in public health research and social and behavioral research. She is trained in PROSCI change management methodologies and brings a strategic, data-driven approach focused on delivering meaningful, sustainable results.
